Charges cover costs that aren't labor or materials, such as equipment rental, delivery fees, dump fees or a fuel surcharge. Save them in Favorites and add them to any service in an estimate.
Create a charge
Tap More → Favorites → Charges, then tap +.
Enter the charge name and price. Tap Margin to add a price margin, or turn on Discount to make the charge a discount. Then tap Add charge.
Choose how the charge is priced
Tap the unit next to the price, for example Flat fee, and choose:
Flat fee, Percent or Per hour
Per length, Per area, Per volume or Per weight, to price by a measurement
Per quantity, for example per day of rental
For equipment you rent by the day, use Per quantity or Flat fee with the daily rate. For equipment you rent by the hour, use Per hour. For fees such as green waste disposal, use Flat fee or a per-volume price.
💡 A flat charge is added with a quantity of 1. For a multi-day rental, change the quantity when you use the charge in an estimate.
Add a charge to a service
In an estimate, tap Add Services → Add maintenance and choose a service. In the service form, tap Charge under Additional components, then choose a charge from your favorites or create a new one.
