What is Zapier
Zapier is an automation tool that connects different apps and lets them work together automatically without manually copying data.
What Zapier does in Duranta
Duranta’s Zapier integration imports customers from another system into Duranta.
You can use Zapier with tools like:
HubSpot
Facebook
LeadConnector
monday.com
Google Sheets
Other apps available in Zapier
💡 Zapier can bring customers into Duranta, but it does not send Duranta data back to your CRM or spreadsheet.
Where to find Zapier in Duranta
Go to Settings → Integrations.
Find the Connect your CRM section.
Select the app you want to connect, or choose 8,000+ more apps to browse Zapier.
Selecting a card opens Zapier in a new tab. The Zap itself is created and managed in Zapier, not in Duranta.

Required fields
These fields are required:
Field | Description |
Duranta Workspace | The workspace where the customer will be imported. |
External ID | A stable ID from your source system, such as a CRM contact ID or spreadsheet row ID. |
Customer Type | Residential or Commercial. |
Optional fields
You can also map:
Field | Description |
First Name | Customer first name. |
Last Name | Customer last name. |
Company Name | Required for Commercial customers. Not used for Residential customers. |
Customer email address. | |
Phone | Customer phone number. |
Address Line 1 | Street address. |
Address Line 2 | Apartment, suite, or unit. |
City | City. |
State / Province | State or province. |
ZIP / Postal Code | ZIP or postal code. |
Country | Country. |
Source Revision | Optional revision value from your source system, if available. |
Reprocess Token | Optional value used when you need Duranta to process rows again. |
How updates work
Duranta uses the External ID to recognize the customer.
If Zapier sends the same External ID again, Duranta updates the existing customer instead of creating a duplicate.
Use a stable External ID from your source system. If the External ID changes, Duranta may create a new customer.
If you use more than one source, use prefixes to avoid conflicts. For example:
hubspot-123sheet-123
This helps prevent two different systems from updating the same Duranta customer by mistake.
How address fields work
Address fields are updated together.
If you send address information, make sure you map the street and city together, plus any other address fields you have.
If you leave all address fields blank, Duranta keeps the address already saved on the customer.
Re-importing customers
Zapier may retry the same row or customer more than once. Duranta remembers the result for the same row so it does not import the same customer twice by mistake.
If you need Duranta to process the same rows again, update the Reprocess Token field with a new value.
The value itself does not matter. It only needs to be different from the previous value.
