Use service packages to group services you often sell together, so you can add the full set to a proposal in just a few clicks.
š” For example, a Spring Cleanup package might include bed weeding, mulch refresh, and debris removal.
What is a service package?
A package is a saved group of services.
Each service inside the package keeps its own price and unit. The package itself does not have one combined bundle price.
When you add a package to a proposal, Duranta adds each service as its own line item.
Packages appear in Favorites ā Services alongside regular services and are marked with a Package badge.
Where to find service packages
Open Duranta on the web app.
In the left sidebar, select Favorites.
Open the Services tab.
Create a package
Go to Favorites ā Services.
Click the create '+' button in the title row.
At the top of the panel, switch from Service to Package.
Enter a package name.
Add services to the package.
Click Save.
Package name is the only required field.
If no services have been added yet, Duranta shows No services in this package yet.
Add services to a package
In the package form, click + Service under Included services.
A service picker opens with a search box.
You can:
Pick an existing service from your Favorites
Search for a service by name
Create a new service if it does not exist yet
š” Starred services appear first in the picker. If you do not have starred services, Duranta shows all available services.
To create a new service while building the package, type a service name that does not already exist and select Create new service. The service editor opens so you can set up the service and price.
The count under Included services updates as you add services.
Edit services inside a package
Each service in the package appears as a row with its name and price.
Click a service row to open and edit it.
When you hover over a service row, additional actions appear:
Action | What it does |
Duplicate service | Adds another copy of that service to the package. |
Edit service | Opens the service editor. |
Remove service | Removes the service from the package after confirmation. |
š” Editing a service inside a package changes it only inside that package. It does not change the original favorite service, other packages, or proposals where the service was already used.
Switch between Service and Package
When creating or editing an item, you can switch between the Service and Package tabs at the top of the panel.
Switching converts the item you are working on.
Service ā Package turns the service into the first service inside a package.
Package ā Service keeps the first service in the package and removes the rest.
Duranta shows a warning before switching:
Switching will convert your current entry to the other type. Any fields not carried over will be lost.
Click Switch to continue.
Use a package on a proposal
Open a proposal.
Add a service.
In the service name field, start typing the package name.
Select the package from the suggestions.
Set the service area.
Save.
Packages appear in suggestions with a Package label.
When you select a package, every service in that package is added to the proposal as its own line item.
For example, a package with three services creates three proposal lines. Each line keeps its own price and can be edited separately.
š” The package name is not shown as a heading on the customer-facing proposal. It is used to help you quickly add the services.
Create a package while building a proposal
You can also create a package directly from a proposal.
Open a proposal.
Add a service.
Type a name that does not match an existing service or package.
Select Create new package.
Add services to the package.
Choose whether to save it to Favorites.
Save.
If you want to reuse the package later, select Save package to favorites before saving.
If you leave that option unchecked, the package applies only to the current proposal.
