Service Packages in the mobile app

Create and use service packages in the Duranta mobile app, so you can add a saved group of services to a proposal with one service area and one total.

Use service packages to save a group of services once, then add the whole group to a proposal from your phone or tablet.

For example, a Spring Cleanup package might include bed weeding, mulch refresh, and debris removal. Instead of adding each service one by one, you can select the package and add all included services at once.

What is a package?

A package is a saved group of services.

Each service inside the package keeps its own price and unit. A package is a shortcut for adding several services at once. It is not a bundle rate, so there is no package price and no package discount.

Packages created on mobile also appear on the web app, and packages created on the web app also appear on mobile. They share the same Favorites list.

Where to find packages

  1. Open the Duranta mobile app.

  2. Tap More.

  3. Tap Favorites.

  4. Open the Services tab.

Packages and individual services share the same Services list. Starred items appear first.

Packages are marked with an orange Package badge next to the name.

Create a package

  1. Go to More → Favorites → Services.

  2. Tap the create button.

  3. At the top of the sheet, switch from Service to Package.

  4. Enter a Package name.

  5. Add services to the package.

  6. Tap Save.

Package name is the only required field.

A package with no services can still be saved. Until you add a service, Duranta shows No services in this package yet.

Add services to a package

Under Included services, tap Service.

The Add service to package sheet opens with a search box.

You can:

  • Pick an existing service from your Favorites

  • Search for a service by name

  • Create a new service if it does not exist yet

Starred services appear first. If you do not have starred services, Duranta shows all available services.

To create a new service while building the package, type a service name that does not already exist and tap Create new service. The service editor opens so you can set up the service and price.

If nothing matches your search, Duranta shows No matching services.

If you do not have any saved services yet, Duranta shows No favorite services yet.

The count under Included services updates as you add services.

Edit, duplicate, or remove a service inside a package

Each service in the package appears as a row with its name and price.

The price shown includes your margin. It is the customer-facing price, not your cost.

If a service has no price, Duranta shows Price is required in red.

You can:

  • Tap the service row to open and edit it

  • Tap the button on the right to choose Edit, Duplicate, or Delete

Editing a service inside a package changes it only inside that package. It does not change the original favorite service, other packages, or proposals where the service was already used.

Switch between Service and Package

The Service and Package tabs convert what you already entered instead of starting over.

  • Service → Package puts the service you were building into the package as the first service.

  • Package → Service keeps the first service and removes the rest.

Duranta asks first:

Switch and keep data?

The warning depends on what would be lost.

If only some fields cannot be carried over, Duranta shows:

Switching will convert your current entry to the other type. Any fields not carried over will be lost.

If the package has more than one service, Duranta shows:

This package has 2 more services that will be discarded. Only the first service is kept when switching.

Tap Switch to continue.

Add a package to a proposal

  1. Open a proposal.

  2. Add a maintenance service.

  3. In the picker, find the package.

  4. Tap the package.

  5. Set the Service area once.

  6. Check the subtotals and the Total.

  7. Save.

Packages appear alongside services and are marked with a Package badge.

You set the service area once for the whole package, not separately for each service.

The service area applies to every service in this package. Each service is priced by area, length or quantity as its own rate requires.

Service area options include:

  • Lawn area

  • Lawn (excl. trees)

  • Property perimeter

  • Custom draw

  • Measured in 3D

You can also enter a value manually in:

  • sq ft

  • sq yd

  • acre

Lawn (excl. trees) may be disabled on properties where Duranta cannot calculate it.

Each service shows its own subtotal. The Total at the bottom adds them together.

If one of the services cannot be priced from the area you selected, the Total stays blank instead of showing the wrong amount.

How packages appear on proposals

When you add a package to a proposal, every service in the package is added as its own line item.

For example, a package with three services creates three proposal lines. Each line keeps its own price and can be edited separately.

The package name is not shown as a heading on the customer-facing proposal. It is used to help you quickly find and add the group of services.

Star, duplicate, or delete a package

In More → Favorites → Services, packages behave like services.

You can:

  • Tap the star to keep the package at the top of the list

  • Tap the button to Duplicate or Delete the package

  • Search for packages by name

Search matches package names and highlights the matching text.
