Duranta automatically labels what it finds on each site, such as lawn, beds, buildings, parking lots, trees, and other service areas.
If the AI gets something wrong, you can either reclassify the area or reshape its outline.
Open the site
Open your Site Scanner project.
Go to the Completed tab.
Find the property you want to edit.
Select View site.
Check what the AI found
The AI map shows each service area in its own color.
Depending on the property, you may see:
Lawn
Beds
Ground
Buildings
Fence
Surfaces
Muni sidewalks
Parking lots
Water
Trees
Bushes / Shrubs
Select an area on the map to see its current classification and measurements.
Reclassify a service area
Use Reclassify as when the shape is correct but the AI assigned the wrong category.
Select the service area on the map.
Select Reclassify as.
Choose the correct service area type.
Duranta updates the measurements after the change.
You can also select multiple service areas and reclassify them together.
Reshape a service area
Use Edit shape when the classification is correct but the outline needs adjustment.
Select the service area.
Select Edit shape.
Use the drawing tools to correct the outline.
Select Done to save your changes.
Select Cancel if you want to discard the edits.
You can also use Undo and Redo while editing.
Drawing tools
Tool | What it does |
Select | Select an area to edit |
Adjust | Drag a node to change part of the outline |
Free draw | Draw a shape freehand |
Node draw | Place nodes one at a time; right-click to close the polygon |
Erase | Remove part of a shape using Free or Node mode |
Scale | Resize the selected shape |
Choose which layer you are editing
Service areas can appear on two different layers.
Ground Layer
Turn on Enable Ground Layer Editing to edit areas such as:
Lawn
Beds
Ground
Surfaces
Parking lots
Other ground-level service areas
Upper Layer
Turn on Enable Upper Layer Editing to edit:
Trees
Bushes / Shrubs
These areas sit above the ground layer and may overlap it.
Toggle Ground Layer only shows or hides the ground areas. It does not change which layer you are currently editing.
If a change does not save
If Duranta cannot save the edit, you may see:
We couldn't save your changes. Please try again.
or:
We couldn't reclassify those segments. Please try again.
Try the change again.
If it continues to fail, contact support and include the Site Scanner site link.
