A snippet is a section you reuse in proposals, such as an About us page, your terms and conditions, a warranty or a photo of your crew with a caption. Save it once in Favorites, then add it to any proposal or template in a few clicks.
Create a snippet
1. In the left sidebar, select Favorites, then open the Proposals tab.
2. Select + next to Snippets.
3. Enter a Snippet name. A snippet can't be saved without a name.
4. Select + and add the blocks you need: Heading, Text, Image, Divider, Spacer or Layout for columns. You can also add another snippet.
5. Select Save.
đĄ In a Text block, select { } to add smart tags, such as the customer's first name. See Personalizing proposals with smart tags in the web app.
Add a snippet to a proposal
1. Open the proposal.
2. Select + where you want the snippet.
3. Select Snippets and choose the snippet.
Duranta adds a copy of the snippet. Editing it in the proposal doesn't change the saved snippet.
To add a snippet to every new proposal, add it to your proposal template in Favorites â Proposals under Proposal settings. See Proposal Templates.
Attach a snippet to a service
To show a snippet every time you add a service, such as care instructions for a planting service, open the service and select + Attach snippet. Choose whether it appears Above service or Below service.
Edit or delete a snippet
Select a snippet in the list to edit it. Select ... at the end of its row to delete it. Deleting a snippet also removes it from your proposal templates.
For all block types and formatting options, see Building proposals and snippets with blocks in the web app.
