What are Favorites for?
Favorites is your workspace library for things you use repeatedly.
You can set up a service once with its pricing, materials, charges, and scheduling details, then reuse it whenever you build a proposal.
Where do I find Favorites?
On the web — select Favorites in the left sidebar.
On mobile — open More → Favorites.
What can I save in Favorites?
Tab | What you can save |
Installs | Reusable install items such as beds, plants, turf, walls, and surfaces |
Services | Maintenance services with their materials, charges, pricing, and scheduling details |
Materials | Materials used across services and installs |
Charges | Reusable charges and fees |
Proposals | Proposal templates and snippets |
If scheduling is enabled for your workspace, you may also see:
Equipment
Crews
Members
What information can a saved service include?
A saved service can include:
Materials
Charges
Pricing
Production rates
Scheduling details
When you add the service to a proposal, those saved settings come with it.
What are Installs for?
Installs are intended for one-time project work rather than recurring maintenance.
For example:
Beds
Plants
Turf
Walls
Surfaces
Save installs you use regularly so you can quickly add them to future proposals.
Can I combine several services into a package?
Yes.
A package combines multiple individual services into one customer-facing offering.
Each service keeps its own pricing.
Use Save package to favorites to save the package for reuse.
Can I star Favorites I use often?
Yes.
Starring frequently used items makes them easier to find.
How can I set the price or margin for a service?
A service can use options such as:
Percentage increase
Fixed dollar amount
Gross margin
Customer price
No margin
How are charges calculated?
Charges can be based on:
A flat amount
A percentage
An hourly rate
A measurement
Can I save production rates, minimum prices, and rounding settings?
Yes.
These settings can be configured on the service in Favorites so they are reused when you add that service to a proposal.
What is the difference between a proposal template and a snippet?
A proposal template controls the overall structure and design of a proposal.
It can include things such as:
Layout
Design settings
Default content
Pricing blocks
A snippet is a reusable content block that you can insert into different proposals.
For example:
A warranty paragraph
A photo with a caption
A two-column information section
Standard terms or customer messaging
Where are snippets saved?
Snippets are located under the Proposals tab in Favorites.
Can I save a block from a proposal as a snippet?
Yes.
Open the block menu and click/tap on the heart icon to Save to snippets.
The block is saved in Favorites so you can reuse it in other proposals or templates.
If I edit a snippet, will proposals that already use it change?
No.
When you insert a snippet into a proposal, Duranta creates a copy of it.
Changing the saved snippet later does not change proposals where it was already used.
Can I edit proposal templates and snippets on my phone?
Yes.
Starting with Duranta mobile app version 1.47.0, you can edit proposal templates and snippets directly in the mobile app.
Open More → Favorites → Proposals to manage them.
Can I use Favorites when creating an invoice?
Yes.
Saved services and snippets can also be added while creating or editing an invoice.
Are Favorites shared with everyone in my workspace?
Yes.
Favorites act as a shared library for the workspace, so your team can reuse the same saved items.
How can I get help?

After signing up, you can also schedule a Duranta Demo
