Creating your first maintenance proposal on desktop web

A maintenance proposal is how you quote recurring services — like mowing, pruning, or seasonal cleanups — to a client. This article shows you how to start a proposal in the Duranta web app, add your services, set pricing, and organize them into sections.

1. Start a new proposal

From the Home screen, click + Create new, then select Proposal or click Proposal on the Home screen

- Type a name to create a new client/ lead or choose an existing one.

- Then click Add a property to create one or choose the property the work is for.

Other ways to start: You can also open an existing client, select a property, and click Create proposal from the property page. The property opens on the map in AI Map view — switch to Services (Step 2) to add your work.

Starting from a measurement instead? See Measuring a property (desktop web app) — you can measure a property first, add a client, then create the proposal from it.

2. Add a maintenance service

You can add a maintenance service a few ways:

  • Click + Maintenance, then select the service area — an AI segment like lawn or beds.

  • In AI Map view, select any colored segment, then click Create service.

  • In Services view, draw the area, then click Create service.

3. Review pricing and subtotals

Each service's price and frequency roll up into the proposal total. Under each service's Subtotal you can choose how recurring totals display (for example, per visit or monthly), and add fees or discounts as needed.

4. Organize into sections

Services are grouped into sections on the proposal. You can rename a section, drag to reorder services and sections, and apply a fee to each section. Use sections to group related work — for example, "Weekly maintenance" and "Seasonal services."

5. Send and share the proposal

When the proposal is ready, click Preview as customer to preview it exactly as your client will see it. Choosing any share option publishes the proposal and creates a link your customer can open on any device.

  • Send email via Duranta — Duranta emails the proposal to your client. Choose the recipients (the client's email addresses on file), add an optional custom message, and click Send.

  • Copy link — copies a shareable link you can paste into a text message, your own email, or anywhere else.

After it's published, the proposal shows when it was sent so you can track it.
