AI options controls how Duranta analyzes a property:
Which aerial imagery the AI uses
Which AI model runs
Where the AI decides the property ends
AI options is available on properties in the Duranta mobile app. Site Scanner projects are managed on the web.
Open AI options
Open a property and look at the column of round buttons on the right side of the map.
Select the three-dots button to open AI options.
From the top, the buttons are:

Stacked layers | Opens Layers |
Pin with a plus | Adds a note or annotation |
The stacked-layers button opens a different menu. Use the three-dots button for AI options.
The AI options sheet contains:
Imagery
AI model
Property boundary
Tap an option to select it.
Choose imagery
The Imagery section controls which aerial capture appears on the map and which imagery the AI uses for measurement.

Quality | Meaning |
Standard | Base resolution |
HD | Higher resolution |
Super HD | Highest available resolution |
If high quality imagery is unavailable, Google Maps or Azure Maps may appear instead.
If there is no imagery to choose from, the section does not appear.
Choose an AI model
Duranta uses different AI models for residential and commercial properties.
Option | Use it for |
Residential | Homes and smaller residential lots |
Commercial - Fast | Commercial properties |
Commercial - Makros (beta) | Larger commercial sites, when enabled for your workspace |
The selected option is the model Duranta will use for the next AI analysis.
If Duranta classified the property automatically, the sheet shows the model it selected.
Choose a property boundary
The Property boundary setting controls where the AI analysis stops.
Option | How it works |
Use the estimated service area from AI | The analysis may extend beyond the property line to include easements, municipal sidewalks, grass strips, or nearby lawn |
Use the official property boundaries | The analysis stays inside the confirmed parcel |
Choose official property boundaries when you are quoting work strictly inside the parcel.
Choose the estimated service area from AI when the area you maintain extends beyond the official property line.
Re-run the AI analysis
Changing imagery, the AI model, or the property boundary does not automatically start a new analysis.
Your existing measurements remain unchanged until you re-run AI.
When your selected settings no longer match the latest analysis, Re-run AI map appears at the bottom of the sheet.
Tap Re-run AI map to start a new analysis.
The sheet closes automatically and the analysis begins.
The button appears only when something has changed. If the current settings already match the latest analysis, there is nothing to re-run and the button does not appear.
If Duranta cannot start the analysis, you may see:
We couldn't start the AI analysis. Please try again.
