Finding AI options
Where is AI options in the web app?
Open a property and look in the left panel under AI options.
It contains:
AI model
Property boundary
Show AI map
Imagery is selected separately from the button on the map.
Where is AI options in the mobile app?
Open a property and tap the three-dots button in the column on the right side of the map.
The AI options sheet contains:
Imagery
AI model
Property boundary
The stacked-layers button next to it opens Layers, which is a different menu.
The settings used to be in one menu on the map. Where did they go?
In the web app, AI model and Property boundary moved to the left panel. Imagery remains on the map.
In the mobile app, all three settings are available together from the three-dots button.
Two places still show all three settings together in one menu on the map:
A Site Scanner site
A property in proposal mode while you are building a proposal
AI model
What is the difference between the AI models?
Duranta uses different models for residential and commercial properties.
Model | Best for |
Residential | Homes and smaller residential lots |
Commercial - Fast | Commercial properties |
Commercial - Makros (beta) | Larger commercial sites, when enabled for your workspace |
Using a model that does not match the property type can make the analysis less accurate.
What is Commercial - Makros (beta)?
It is a larger commercial AI model.
It appears only when it is enabled for your workspace, so you may not see it as an option.
Why does the web app show Auto if I cannot select it?
Auto can appear as the current value while Duranta is determining which model should be used.
It is not an option you can select from the individual property menu.
Once Duranta determines the model, the row shows the selected model.
Why can I select Auto when creating a Site Scanner project?
Auto is available during Site Scanner project setup.
With Auto, Duranta chooses a residential or commercial model for each site based on how the parcel is classified.
It is the default for new Site Scanner projects and works well for most mixed property lists.
Individual property settings do not include Auto as a selectable option.
Does changing the AI model automatically re-measure the property?
No.
Changing the model does not start a new analysis automatically.
Your existing measurements remain unchanged until you choose to re-run AI.
Property boundary
Which property boundary should I use?
Neither option is always more accurate. They are designed for different situations.
Use official property boundaries when you are quoting strictly within the parcel and do not want nearby municipal areas included.
Use the estimated service area from AI when the work you maintain extends beyond the official parcel, such as grass strips or areas up to the curb.
What do Estimated and Official mean in the web app?
These are short labels for the two boundary options.

The web app shows the short labels in the AI options card and the full descriptions after you open the menu.
The mobile app shows the full labels.
What can be included outside the official property boundary?
Depending on the property, the estimated service area may include:
Easements
Municipal sidewalks
Grass strips
Nearby lawn
Choosing official property boundaries keeps the analysis within the confirmed parcel.
Imagery
What do Standard, HD, and Super HD mean?
They describe the image resolution.
Quality | Meaning |

HD | Higher resolution |
Super HD | Highest available resolution |
Which options are available depends on the imagery captured for that address.
Why do I see Google Maps or Azure Maps instead of HD - 2025?
Imagery is not available for that address.
Duranta uses Google Maps or Azure Maps as fallback imagery providers where needed.
Why is there no Imagery section in the mobile app?
There may be no alternative imagery captures available for that property.
When there is nothing to choose from, the Imagery section is hidden and the sheet shows only:
AI model
Property boundary
Re-running the analysis
I changed an AI option and nothing happened. Is that expected?
Yes.
Changing imagery, the AI model, or the property boundary does not immediately replace your existing measurements.
Your current results remain in place until you choose to run the analysis again.
How do I re-run the AI analysis?
In the web app, changing the AI model or property boundary shows:
Results use old settings
Select Re-run AI.
In the mobile app, Re-run AI map appears at the bottom of the AI options sheet.
Tap it to start the new analysis. The sheet closes automatically.
If you change imagery in the web app, the map shows:
Imagery changed — re-run AI
Select it to analyze the property using the newly selected imagery.
Why don't I see a re-run button?
Your current settings already match the latest AI analysis.
The re-run option appears only when something has changed.
Does Show AI map change the analysis?
No.
Show AI map only controls whether the AI-measured layers are visible on the map.
It does not change the analysis or measurements.
Do AI options apply to one property or every property?
They apply to one property.
Each property keeps its own:
AI model
Property boundary
Imagery selection
For a group of properties, you can choose defaults when creating a Site Scanner project.
Each site starts with those project settings and can be changed individually afterward.
Are AI options available in Site Scanner?
Yes.
Each Site Scanner site has AI options available in a single menu on the map.
Site Scanner itself is available only in the web app.
