A route is one crew's day: the crew, the date, their working hours and the stops in order. In the app you can see every crew's day on a map, move stops between crews, and add or change routes.
Where it lives
Open Scheduling from the bottom tab bar and tap Routes at the top.
The tab shows one day at a time. Use the arrows to step between days, tap the date to jump to any day, or tap Today to come back.
The day at a glance
At the top is a map of the day's stops. Below it, each crew's route is listed in its color with:
the crew name, and how many stops it has and how many are done
its stops in order, numbered, each with its status, address, time and duration
Jobs with no crew that day are listed under Not placed.
With nothing scheduled you'll see "No work orders scheduled for this day" and a + Work order button.
Work with a crew's route
Each crew's route has three buttons:
+: a new work order for that crew on that day.
Pencil: edit the route.
Eye: show or hide the crew on the map.
Tap the crew's header to collapse or expand its stops.
The full-screen map
Tap {n} stops on the map to open the map full screen. The header shows the date and the number of stops.
Switch between Roadmap, Satellite, Hybrid and Terrain, and zoom in and out.
On this map lists the crews and their stops, with an eye button to show or hide each one.
Choose a crew to see its day as a timeline, with the estimated drive time and distance between each stop.
Change a stop without opening the work order
Tap a stop to open its card:
Crew: move it to another crew that has a route that day, or Take off the day to take it off the schedule.
Starts: the date and time.
Takes: the duration.
Open: the full work order.
Duranta confirms each change, for example "Moved to Blue Crew".
Add a route
In Scheduling, tap + in the header and choose Route.
Choose the Crew.
Set the Start date. Add an End date to create the same route on every day in between, up to a year.
Set the Start time and End time: the crew's working hours.
Pick a Route color.
Tap Add route.
One crew can have only one route a day. If the crew already has one, you'll see "{crew} already has a route on {dates}. Adjust the dates or choose a different crew."
You don't always need to add a route first. Assigning a crew to a work order on a day they have no route creates the route for you.
Edit a route
Tap the pencil on a crew's route to change its crew, dates, hours or color. When the route repeats over several days, choose whether the change applies to This day only or This and all following.
Delete a route
Open the route with the pencil and tap Delete route. "Its stops come off the schedule. The work orders stay with the crew and land on its next route."
Deleting a route never deletes the work orders on it.
Routing on the web
The web adds a board for dragging jobs between crews and changing a route's crew for all its jobs at once. See Routing: Routes, Crews, and the Map.
