A lead is someone you haven't worked for yet. A client is someone you already work with. Both can have properties, measurements, estimates and invoices.
Start a new account
In the bottom bar, tap Create, then Lead or Client. You can also tap Lead under Create a new on Home.
Fill in the details
Choose Residential for a homeowner, or Commercial for a business with more than one contact. Then fill in the account:
Field | What to enter |
Name | First and last name |
This is a new lead | On for a lead, off for a client |
Phone | The customer's phone number |
The customer's email address | |
Account Owner | The team member responsible for the account |
Notes | Anything else about the customer |
Only the name is required. Leave This is a new lead on for someone you haven't worked for yet, and turn it off for an existing customer. You can change it later, and converting a lead to a client keeps its properties, estimates and notes.
Tap Next.
Add the property
Start typing the property address, then choose it from the search results.
Check the property on the map. Duranta outlines the lot and shows the registered property owner at that address. To move the pin, long-press the right spot on the map. Then tap Confirm property.
đĄ To save only the contact details, tap Skip on the address screen. You can add a property later from the account page.
What happens next
Duranta opens the new account. From here you can call, text or email the customer, add notes, create an estimate for the property and add invoices or work orders.
The steps are the same on iOS and Android.
