Creating a residential lead or client in the web app
A residential account is a homeowner or residential property owner you do work for, such as a house, townhouse, or rental property.
Leads and clients work the same way in Duranta. Both can have properties, measurements, proposals, and invoices. The difference is whether you have worked for them yet.
Start a new account
Use either of these options:
From Home, select Create new, then Lead
From the sidebar, open CRM, then select Add lead or Add client
The Create account dialog opens.
Fill in the details
Stay on the Residential tab. It is selected when the dialog opens.
Use Commercial instead for a business with more than one contact.
Field | What to enter |
Name | First name and last name |
This is a new lead | Turn on for a lead or off for a client |
Phone | Customer's phone number |
Customer's email address | |
Owner | The team member responsible for the account |
Notes | Additional information about the customer |
Billing address | Where invoices should be sent |
Only the name is needed to save. You can add the other details later.
Choose lead or client
The This is a new lead switch determines whether the account is created as a lead or a client.
Leave it on for someone you are quoting for the first time.
Turn it off for a customer you already work with.
You can change this later. Converting a lead to a client keeps its properties, proposals, and notes.
Save and add the property
Select Save.
Duranta takes you directly to adding a property for the account.
Enter the property address and confirm the boundary.
See Choosing imagery when you add a property to choose the aerial imagery before Duranta runs the AI measurement.
If you would rather add the property later, you can leave the property setup screen. The account has already been saved.
