An install estimate tells a lead or client what you'll build and what it costs. Examples are patios, pavers, driveways, planting beds, retaining walls and plant installs.
1. Create the estimate
Tap Create, then Estimate, and choose the customer and property. See steps 1 and 2 of Creating your first maintenance estimate in the mobile app.
Then tap Add Services, then Add install.
2. Choose the type of install
Choose the type of install at the bottom of the map:
Beds: planted beds, mulch, topsoil and other volume work
Plants: trees, shrubs and other plantings
Turf: artificial grass
Walls: retaining walls or fences
Surfaces: patios, driveways and other hardscape
3. Draw the install on the map
With Draw selected, drag your finger on the map to trace the install. Beds and surfaces are areas, walls are lines, and plants are points. Use Erase and Adjust to fix the shape.
š” Pinch with two fingers to zoom in and out.
Duranta shows the measured size at the top. Tap Done.
4. Add the install details
Tap Select next to a saved install from your Favorites, or next to Create new to enter your own pricing.
Check the name, then add materials with + Material and extra charges, such as delivery or equipment, with + Charge. For each material, enter its price and your margin.
š” The name shows on your proposal, so use something your customer will recognize, such as Paver patio or Front planting bed.
š” Your margin is the profit you want to make on the material. Turn on Add extra material to add a buffer to the quantity.
Check the Subtotal and tap Add.
5. Generate and send the proposal
Tap the back arrow to return to the estimate. Your install appears with its price.
Tap Generate proposal.
Tap Preview to check the proposal.
Tap Send in email, or tap Share to send it by text or copy a link.
The steps are the same on iOS and Android.
