I don’t see the Equipment tab. Why?
Equipment is part of scheduling.
If you do not see Equipment, Members, or Crews in Favorites, scheduling may not be enabled for your account.
Can I record how many of something I own?
Not on the equipment item itself.
Quantity is set when equipment is added to a crew.
If you need to track each unit separately, create a separate equipment item for each one.
Do purchase price and expected life affect pricing?
No. These fields are stored for reference only.
Duranta does not currently use them for proposals, job costing, or depreciation calculations.
Can the same equipment be added to multiple crews?
Yes. The same equipment item can be added to multiple crews.
Each crew can have its own quantity.
What happens if I delete equipment assigned to a crew?
The crew stays, but the equipment line is removed from that crew.
Members and other equipment on the crew are not affected.
Can I leave the equipment type blank?
No. Every equipment item has a type.
New equipment defaults to Vehicle. Use Other if none of the listed types fit.
Can I duplicate equipment?
Yes. Use the ⋯ menu and choose Duplicate.
This is useful for creating similar equipment items without re-entering all details.
