An install proposal is used to quote one-time construction work such as patios, walls, turf, beds, and planting.
Start a proposal
Open the client and property you are quoting.
Or select Create new → Proposal, then add a new client and property.
Select Start a new proposal
Draw the install on the map
Installs are drawn on the property map because the price depends on the size and shape of what you are building.
Use the drawing tools to define the install:

Erase | Remove part of the area you drew |
Duranta measures the shape you draw and uses that measurement as the quantity.
Add the install details
Select + Install, then choose the type of installation.
Type | How it is measured |
Beds | Area |
Plants | Quantity — number of plants |
Turf | Area |
Wall | Length |
Surface | Area — for patios, paving, rock, and similar work |
Give the install a name your customer will recognize, such as Front bed plant install.
Then add the materials required for the work.
If you choose a saved install from Favorites → Installs, its saved materials are included automatically.
Check the subtotal
Each install shows its own subtotal while you build the proposal.
Use the subtotal to see how changes to materials or other install details affect the price.
Lay out and send the proposal
When the install details and pricing are ready:
Arrange the proposal content.
Preview the proposal.
Send it to the customer.
The Proposal pipeline on the Home screen tracks the proposal through:

Opened
Approved
