Creating your first invoice on desktop web

In Duranta you can create an invoice from scratch or convert an existing proposal into an invoice in one click. This article shows you how to create and send an invoice from the web app.

1. Start a new invoice

From the Home screen, click + Create new, then select Invoice. Choose (or create) the client you're billing.

2. Fill in the details

- Set the invoice date and due date.

- Add your line items - a description, quantity, and price for each.

- Add a tax rate if it applies.

3. Send and share the invoice

Preview the invoice, then Send email via Duranta or Copy link to share it with your client. Choosing any share option publishes the proposal and creates a link your customer can open on any device.

  • Send email via Duranta — Duranta emails the invoice to your client. Choose the recipients (the client's email addresses on file), add an optional custom message, and click Send.

  • Copy link — copies a shareable link you can paste into a text message, your own email, or anywhere else.

After it's published, the invoice shows when it was sent so you can track it.
