Duranta copies the proposal’s line items, quantities, units, and prices into the invoice automatically. You can review and edit the invoice before sending it to the customer.
Start a new invoice
From the Home screen, click + Create new, then select Invoice.
You can also go to the Invoices page and click Create invoice.
Choose the client
Under Who is this invoice for?, click Choose a client.
You can:
Select an existing client from your CRM
Type a name to create a new lead
Choose a proposal
If the selected client has proposals, Duranta asks:
Would you like to start the invoice from one of this customer’s proposals?
Each proposal row shows the proposal, status, and address, so you can choose the correct one.
Click the proposal you want to bill.
Duranta imports the proposal’s line items, quantities, units, and prices into the invoice.
If you do not want to use a proposal, click Skip — start from a blank invoice.
Note: This step only appears when the selected client already has at least one proposal. If the client does not have any proposals, Duranta opens a blank invoice.
Review and adjust the invoice
The imported items appear in the invoice items table.
Before sending, review the invoice and make any needed changes. You can:
Edit imported items
Remove items you are not billing yet
Add extra items or fees
Set the invoice date
Set the due date
Add a tax rate, if needed
💡Editing the invoice does not change the original proposal. Duranta copies the items into the invoice when you convert it.
Preview and send
The invoice starts as a draft. Nothing is sent to the customer until you send or share it.
Use Preview as customer to see what the customer will see.
Then choose how to share the invoice:
Send email via Duranta

Customers can pay invoices online from any device when your Duranta account has an approved Stripe account connected.
