Diagonal views are angled aerial photos of a property, captured from north, east, south and west.

The standard property map looks straight down, which works well for measuring areas but can make vertical features difficult to understand. Diagonal views show the property from the side, making walls, fences, slopes, building faces and access points easier to inspect.

The Diagonal views panel opens on the left side of the map, with available directions shown as previews.

The Diagonals button appears only when imagery is available for that property.

Select one of the available directions:

The selected photo fills the main map area.

The direction describes where the camera is looking. For example, North view means you are looking north toward the property.

While a view is open:

Use any of these options:

Select the X beside the Diagonal views heading at the top of the panel.

The Capture date control at the bottom of the panel shows which aerial capture you are viewing.

Open it to choose another available date.

Duranta starts with the most recent capture. Older captures can help you understand what a property looked like before landscaping, construction, or other changes.

When you switch to another capture, Duranta starts with the first photo from that capture.

Some captures include more than one image.

When multiple photos are available, a counter appears beside the capture date, for example:

Use the arrows to move through the available photos.

Try another image if part of the property is clipped, blocked, or difficult to see.

If the selected capture does not include an image from that direction, Duranta shows:

No image for this view

Not every flight captures all four directions.

Try another Capture date.

Diagonal views are for inspecting the property, not measuring it.

Because the image is captured at an angle, perspective affects how large objects appear. Features farther from the camera can look smaller.

Measurements continue to come from the top-down property map and Duranta's AI analysis.

Using Diagonal views does not change:

Diagonal imagery comes from the Aerial Imagery provider and is captured by aircraft, so availability depends on the area.

If no imagery is available for the property, the Diagonals button does not appear.

Use Diagonal views when you need to better understand the property rather than measure it.
