Aidan is Duranta's AI assistant. Tell it what you need in plain words, such as "measure 1455 Foxworthy Avenue" or "draft a proposal for Rufina Plaza with weekly mowing", and it does the work in your account: it finds records, measures properties, drafts leads, proposals and invoices, and more. New records are shown to you as a draft first, so you stay in control.
Open Aidan
In the left sidebar, select Aidan Agent. The Aidan window opens on top of the page you're on, so you can keep working while you chat. Aidan Agent shows in the sidebar when Aidan is turned on for your workspace.
When the chat is empty, Aidan shows What can I help with? with starter cards: Proposal, Invoice, Property, Service, Material or charge, Measure a property, Site Scanner and Find a record. Select a card to start with it, or type your own request in Ask Aidan or type /.
Move the window
Select the Chat position button at the top of the window and choose Floating window, Pin to left or Pin to right. A floating window can be dragged anywhere; double-click its top bar to put it back in the corner. In a floating window, Minimize folds it away and keeps your conversation. Close (the X) hides the window.
Ask Aidan
Type your request in the message box. Press Enter to send, or Shift + Enter for a new line.
Aidan shows what it's doing while it works, for example Searching your records or Looking at the property. Select Stop generating to stop it.
Read the answer, and reply to continue. Aidan remembers what you said earlier in the same conversation, so "add a lead for that address" works after you asked it to measure one.
You can also:
Talk instead of typing. Select the microphone (Voice input) and speak. Your browser asks for microphone access the first time.
Attach a file. Select the paperclip (Attach an image or CSV file) to add a photo or a CSV spreadsheet, or paste an image into the message box. Aidan can read a list of addresses from a CSV, for example to measure them all with Site Scanner.
Use a shortcut
Type / in the message box to see the shortcuts: /proposal, /invoice, /property, /service, /material, /measure, /site-scanner and /find. Use the arrow keys and Enter, or select one.
What Aidan can do
Find anything: search by name, address, email, phone or number. Aidan looks through leads and clients, properties, proposals, invoices, notes, work orders, crews, crew members, equipment, and your favorites (services, installs, materials, charges, packages and snippets). It shows the best matches with their status, such as archived, and a link to open each one. You can also ask for a list, for example "list all my crews".
Measure a property: give it an address and it creates the property, runs the AI map and lists the measurements. It can also re-run the AI, change the AI model or property boundary, switch the imagery date or source, reclassify parts of the map, show or hide map layers, open oblique photos and the 3D view, and count parking spots.
Leads and clients: create, edit, archive or delete them, and add a property to a client.
Proposals: draft a proposal with services and installs, add saved packages, create several proposals at once, share it, approve it for the client, archive or delete it.
Favorites: create, change or delete services, installs, materials and charges.
Crews: create and edit crews, crew members and equipment.
Work areas: save a work area on a property.
Site Scanner: measure every address in a spreadsheet, check on a project, download its maps, measurements or CSV, change one site's AI settings, or delete a project.
Scheduling: create work orders, change their status or crew, skip a visit, reschedule, end a recurring series and share a work order. For routes, Aidan can find open slots, show the week, check drive times, block time such as lunch, and move a rained-out day.
Invoices: draft an invoice, bill work orders into draft invoices, edit an open invoice, and send it to the client.
Review before Aidan saves
When you ask for a new record, such as a lead, a proposal, a favorite or a client's property, Aidan drafts it and shows a card with the details. Nothing is saved until you select the button on the card, for example Create account, Save proposal or Create property. You can also reply "save it", or ask Aidan to change something first.
After you save, the card links to the new record, so you can open it right away.
Measuring an address that has no client is different: Aidan creates the property and runs the AI map right away, so you can see the measurements. For a client's property, it shows a Create property card first.
Some changes happen as soon as you ask, without a card: archiving or approving a proposal, archiving a lead or client, rescheduling a work order, changing AI settings or re-running the AI, and sharing. If one message asks for a new lead or client together with a property and a proposal, Aidan saves all three at once.
Deleting always shows a card with a warning, such as This cannot be undone., and only happens when you select its button.
After you select the button, the card changes to Account deleted.
