Aidan is the AI assistant built into the Duranta mobile app. Instead of tapping through screens, you tell it what you need, typed or spoken, and it does the work in your account. On a job site you can ask it to measure a new address, look up a client's phone number, find a proposal you sent last week, or draft a lead for the person you just met. When it creates something new, Aidan shows you a draft first, and it isn't saved until you confirm.
Open Aidan
On the Home screen, tap Ask, the orange button next to the search bar. If you don't see Ask, Aidan isn't available for your account yet.
The Aidan screen opens. Type in Ask Aidan at the bottom, or tap the microphone to talk.

Type or say what you need, for example "Measure 1455 Foxworthy Avenue, San Jose".
Tap Send. Aidan shows Thinking… while it works. Tap Stop generating to stop it.
Read the answer, and reply to continue. Aidan remembers what you said earlier in the same conversation.
You can also:
Talk instead of typing. Tap the microphone (Voice input). The app asks for microphone access the first time.
Attach a file. Tap the attach button and choose Photos or CSV file. Tap Remove attachment to take it off before sending.
What Aidan can do on mobile
Find anything: search by name, address, email, phone or number. Aidan looks through leads and clients, properties, proposals, invoices, notes, work orders, crews, crew members, equipment, and your favorites (services, installs, materials, charges, packages and snippets). It shows the best matches with their status, such as archived, and a link to open each one. You can also ask for a list, for example "list all my crews".
Measure a property: give it an address and it creates the property, runs the AI map and shows the map in the chat. It can highlight parts of the map, reclassify parts of the map, count parking spots, and create, rename or delete ruler measurements.
Leads and clients: create, edit, archive or delete them, and add a property to a client.
Proposals: draft and save proposals, including several at once, add saved packages, share a proposal, approve it for the client, archive or delete it.
Favorites: create or change services, installs, materials and charges, or delete them from a card.
Crews: create and edit crews, crew members and equipment, remove members and equipment, and archive a crew.
Site Scanner, work orders, routes, invoices, work areas, map layers and AI settings aren't available through Aidan on mobile. Use Aidan in the web app for those.
When Aidan measures a new address, it shows a property card with the map, marked Property created. Tap Open property to go to it.
Review before Aidan saves
When you ask for a new record, such as a lead, a proposal, a favorite or a client's property, Aidan drafts it and shows a card. Nothing is saved until you tap the button on the card, for example Create account or Save proposal, or tell Aidan to save it. If the address is already a property, the card says Duplicate property found, and a second copy is only created if you tap Create duplicate property.
Measuring an address that has no client is different: Aidan creates the property and runs the AI map right away. Archiving or approving a proposal and archiving a lead or client also happen as soon as you ask. If one message asks for a new lead or client together with a property and a proposal, Aidan saves all three at once.
Deleting always shows a card with a warning and only happens when you tap its button.
