Getting started
I don't see Aidan Agent in the sidebar.
Aidan has to be turned on for your workspace. Contact Duranta support to ask about access.
Is Aidan the same as the chat widget on my website?
No. The website widget (Install Aidan widget in Settings) answers your customers and collects quote requests. Aidan Agent works inside your Duranta account for you and your team.
Using Aidan
Does Aidan save things without asking?
New records, such as leads, proposals, favorites and a client's property, are drafted on a card and only saved when you select the card's button or tell Aidan to save them. Deleting always needs you to select the button on the card.
Some changes happen as soon as you ask: measuring an address with no client (Aidan creates the property and runs the AI map), archiving or approving a proposal, and archiving a lead or client. In the web app, rescheduling a work order, changing AI settings and sharing also apply right away. If one message asks for a new lead or client together with a property and a proposal, Aidan saves all three at once.
Does Aidan remember earlier conversations?
It remembers everything in the current conversation. When you reload the page, the chat starts fresh.
Aidan asked me a question instead of doing the task.
It does that when a request could mean more than one thing, for example when several properties share an address or it needs to know whether a new lead is a person or a company. Answer the question and it continues.
Aidan stopped halfway through a big request.
Each message has a limit on how many steps Aidan can take. Split a large request into smaller ones, for example one proposal per message, or use Site Scanner for long lists of addresses.
I see "Aidan could not answer".
Something went wrong with that message. Send it again; if it keeps happening, contact support with the message text.
Files and voice
What files can I attach?
Images and CSV files. A CSV of addresses is the quickest way to measure many properties with Site Scanner.
Voice input doesn't work.
Allow microphone access for Duranta in your browser settings, then try again. The microphone button only appears in browsers that support voice input.
