How to add Materials in the web app

There are several places in the web app where you can add materials.

In the Proposal Flow

Notes

Proposal --> Add maintenance service

In the proposal flow, when adding a maintenance service, you can add a new material or select an existing material inside the service.

Proposal --> Add install

In the proposal flow, when adding an install, you can add materials under:

  • Beds

  • Plants

  • Turf

  • Walls

  • Surfaces

In the Favorites Flow

Settings β†’ Favorites β†’ Services

Inside a service, you can add a material

Settings β†’ Favorites β†’ Materials

then click the + button to add a new material


Coverage

Bulk materials such as mulch, fertilizer, or stone are typically priced by area, volume, or weight.

Plant

Individual plants and grouped plantings are typically priced per plant.


Linear

Linear materials are used for run-length items like edging, pipe, or borders, priced per foot, per 1,000 feet, or per yard.


Block

Block materials are used for counted units like pavers or retaining wall blocks, priced per block.

Block dimensions can be entered in inches, feet, or yards for length, width, and height.


Flat

Flat price materials are used for single fixed-cost items or one-off charges, priced as a flat fee.


Price margin

Every material supports a price margin, allowing you to adjust pricing.

You can choose from:

  • % more

  • $ more

  • Gross margin

  • Customer price

  • None (Selected by default)
