Your company can use imperial units, metric units, or both.
The setting applies to the entire company, so everyone on your team sees the same measurement options in the web app and mobile app.
New companies use imperial units by default.
Choose your measurement units
Duranta lets you configure four types of measurements separately:
Measure | Imperial | Metric |
Area | Square feet (sq. feet) | Square meters (sq. meters) |
Length/height | Feet (ft) | Meters (m) |
Volume | Cubic feet (cu. feet) | Cubic meters (cu. meters) |
Weight | Pounds (lb) | Kilograms (kg) |
For each measure, choose:
Imperial
Metric
Both
You can also mix systems.
For example, your company can use metric units for Length/height while continuing to use imperial units for Area.
Set your Default system
Below the measurement options is Default system.
Choose:
Imperial
Metric
The default system matters when a measurement is set to Both.
For example, if Area is set to Both and your default system is Metric, new area values use square meters by default, while square feet remain available when you choose a unit.
Change measurement units in the web app
Open Settings.
Select AI & Unit Settings.
Find Measurement units.
Choose Imperial or Metric under Default system.
For Area, Length/height, Volume, and Weight, choose Imperial, Metric, or Both.
Changes are saved automatically when you select an option.
The unit currently in use appears beside each measurement type, for example:

When a measurement is set to Both, Duranta makes units from both systems available where you can choose a unit.
For example, if:
Area is set to Both
Default system is set to Metric
New area values start in square meters, but you can still choose sq ft where a unit selector is available.

What happens to saved Favorites?
If a Favorite was saved using imperial units and your company now uses metric units, or the other way around, Duranta converts the values when you use that Favorite.
The original Favorite remains saved in the units it was created with.
