Duranta works in Canada with the same core tools available in the United States, including aerial imagery, AI measurements, proposals, invoices.
Canadian addresses are supported automatically. Parcel boundary availability can vary by province and region, but a parcel boundary is not required to use Duranta.
What works in Canada
You can use Duranta in Canada for:
High-resolution aerial imagery
AI measurements
Proposals and invoices
CRM and property management
Card payments, including Tap to Pay
Canadian addresses
When you set the country to Canada, Duranta adjusts the address form automatically.
State changes to Province
ZIP code changes to Postal code
Canadian provinces and territories become available in the province list
Postal codes use the Canadian format
Time zones in Canada
Duranta uses the postal code to determine the workspace time zone.
This helps scheduling, work orders, and timestamps appear in your local time.
If the postal code does not provide enough information to determine the time zone, the workspace defaults to Eastern Time (America/Toronto).
You can change the time zone under Account Settings → Change Time Zone.
Parcel boundaries in Canada
Parcel boundary coverage varies by province and region.
Coverage | What it means |
Excellent — over 75% | Most properties have parcel boundaries available. |
High — 50–75% | Many properties have parcel boundaries available. |
Moderate — 25–50% | Some properties have parcel boundaries available. |
Low — under 25% | Parcel boundary coverage is limited. |
Unknown | Coverage information is not available for the region. |
If parcel coverage is important for the areas where you work, contact the Duranta team and we can check the region with you.
Parcel boundaries are not required
You can still use Duranta when a property does not have an available parcel boundary.
To create your own boundary:
Add the property as usual.
On the property confirmation page, select Adjust lot.
Draw the boundary around the area you service.
Select Confirm.
Duranta then runs its AI measurements inside the boundary you created.
You can also upload a .kml file if you already have a property boundary from another system.
If a parcel boundary is incorrect
Parcel data may not always reflect recent lot splits, subdivisions, or new construction.
If the boundary does not match the area you service, use Adjust lot to correct it.
Duranta measures the boundary shown on the map, so you can use your own adjusted service area even when the underlying parcel record is outdated.
Measurement units
Most measurements in Duranta currently use imperial units, including:
Square feet
Feet
Acres
These units are used in the main property map, AI measurements, proposals, and invoices.
