What is parking spot count?
Parking spot count is an AI estimate of how many parking spaces are detected on a property. It is useful for line-striping quotes or other services priced per parking spot.
How do I count parking spots?
Open a property on the AI Map, find the Parking lots row in the Service Areas panel, and click the car icon to start detection.
Does parking spot detection run automatically?
No. Parking spot detection is on demand. It only runs when you click the car icon.
When does the car icon appear?
The car icon appears only when Duranta detects a parking lot on the property.
Why don’t I see the car icon?
If the property does not have a detected parking lot, the car icon may not appear. Residential properties without parking lots usually do not show the icon.
What happens after detection is complete?
Duranta shows the estimated number of parking spots under the Parking lots row. Detected spots also appear as orange dots on the map.
Can I re-run the parking spot count?
Yes. You can re-run the parking spot count anytime, especially after adjusting the lot or property boundary.
Is parking spot count available on mobile?
Parking spot counting is currently available in the web app only.
