What is Site Scanner?
Site Scanner is a web app feature that lets you upload a CSV file with property addresses. Duranta uses AI and HD imagery to analyze each property and generate maps with measured areas.
What does Site Scanner measure?
Each site gets its total property size, plus the measured areas the AI finds.
Depending on the property those can include:
Property size
Lawn
Lawn (and lawn excluding trees)
Beds
Ground
Buildings
Fence
Surfaces
Muni sidewalks
Parking lots
Water
Trees
Bushes / Shrubs
Do I have access to Site Scanner?
Site Scanner is not enabled by default.
Contact [email protected] if you would like access.
What do I need to start a Site Scanner project?
You need:
A .csv file containing property addresses
A project name
How do I upload a property list?
Drag your .csv file into the upload area or browse for it.
If the file is not a CSV, Duranta shows:
That file isn't a CSV. Try uploading a .csv file.
How should my CSV be formatted?
Each row needs an address.
You can map either:
One Complete Address column
or separate columns for:
Street
City
State
ZIP
Do not mix the two approaches.
Separate address columns can improve matching accuracy when your source data already contains them.
What is Site ID?
Site ID is an optional column you can map to help uniquely identify each property.
Using a Site ID can help prevent duplicate uploads.
If you use it:
Every row needs a Site ID
Every Site ID must be unique
If there are missing or duplicate IDs, Duranta asks you to fix the file or remove the Site ID mapping.
Why can't I start Analyze?
Duranta checks the project before analysis begins.
Common reasons include:
No project name
No address columns mapped
Missing Site IDs
Duplicate Site IDs
A project with the same name already exists
Project names must be unique.
How long does Site Scanner analysis take?
It depends on how many properties are in the project.
Sites appear as their analysis completes.
Duranta may show:
Sites appear here as analysis completes. This may take a few minutes.
Can I see the analysis progress?
Yes.
Duranta shows a progress counter such as:
{analyzed} / {total} addresses
Do I need to keep Site Scanner open while it runs?
No.
You can leave the page while the project processes.
Return to Previous projects to open it again.
How are completed sites and errors organized?
Site Scanner separates results into:
Completed — sites that were processed successfully
Errors — sites that need attention
Use Next error to move through sites with problems.
What do Site Scanner errors mean?
Error | What it means |
Address not found | Duranta could not resolve the address. Check the spelling and formatting |
Multiple parcels found | The address matched more than one parcel, so a boundary could not be selected automatically |
AI analysis failed | The AI measurement did not complete for that site |
Can I fix a site with an error?
Yes.
You can edit or delete the site.
If the address resolved to the wrong location, long-click the map to change the site location.
Can I export Site Scanner measurements?
Yes.
You can download project results as a CSV, including measured areas in square feet.
Can I export the site maps as images?
Yes.
You can export site images as a zipped download.
Use Re-export site images if you need to generate them again.
Duranta shows progress while the images are being prepared.
Do I have to export every site in the project?
No.
Select only the sites you want to export.
The download button shows how many you selected:
Download files ({count} selected)
Can I download the map for a single site?
Yes.
Use Download map image on the site.
Can I share a Site Scanner site with someone who does not use Duranta?
Yes.
Use Link to site to generate a shareable link.
The recipient can view the site map without needing a Duranta account.
What should I do if a shared site link does not work?
If the site was deleted or the link is incorrect, the recipient may see:
Site map not found
Generate the link again and confirm that the site still exists.
If the link is still not accessible, contact Duranta support.

You can change the AI model for:
The whole project
An individual site
Re-run the analysis to apply the change.
See Choose the AI Model in Site Scanner for more details.
Can I control which property area the AI analyzes?

Property boundary settings determine where Duranta runs the analysis.
See Property Boundaries in Site Scanner for more details.
Can I copy measurements from one Site Scanner property?
Yes.
Use Copy values to copy the site's service area measurements to your clipboard.
You can then paste them into a spreadsheet.
See Copy Service Area Values from the AI Map for more details.
Can I assign someone to a Site Scanner site?
Yes.
Use Site Owner to record who is responsible for a site.
You can assign Site Owners individually or in bulk.
Can I mark a site as reviewed?
Yes.
Use the Verified checkbox to mark sites your team has reviewed.
You can also update Verified in bulk.
If the site is re-analyzed, Verified is cleared automatically because the measurements may have changed.
Why don't I see Site Owner or Verified?
These columns can be hidden.
You can enable them for the workspace or for an individual project.
From the project's … menu, use:
Show Site Owner
Show Verified
When shown, these fields are also included in CSV exports.
