Which browsers does Duranta support?

Duranta supports modern desktop browsers, including:

  • Google Chrome

  • Microsoft Edge

  • Apple Safari 26+

  • Mozilla Firefox

For the best experience and performance, we recommend using the latest version of Chrome or Edge.


What is WebGPU?

WebGPU is a modern browser technology that improves graphics rendering and AI-powered map performance.

Duranta uses WebGPU to help power advanced map and AI measurement features.


Does Safari support WebGPU?

Safari 17–18 includes experimental WebGPU support, but it is not fully enabled by default for all users and websites. Safari 26+ supports WebGPU by default.


How do I enable WebGPU in Safari 17–18?

  1. Open Safari → Settings → Advanced

  2. Enable Show features for web developers

  3. Go to Feature Flags

  4. Enable WebGPU


Which Safari versions support WebGPU?

  • Safari 15–16 → no usable WebGPU support

  • Safari 17–18 → experimental support (manual enable required)

  • Safari 26+ → full/default support


Does Firefox support WebGPU?

Yes. Recent Firefox versions support WebGPU, though support may vary depending on your operating system and hardware.


Which Firefox versions support WebGPU?

  • Older Firefox versions → limited or experimental support

  • Recent Firefox versions → improved WebGPU support and performance


Do I need to enable WebGPU manually in Firefox?

Some Firefox versions may still require enabling experimental settings manually.

  • Opening about:support

  • Checking whether navigator.gpu is available in the browser console


Why does Duranta recommend Chrome or Edge?

Chrome and Edge currently provide the most stable and complete WebGPU support, which may improve:

  • AI map rendering

  • Property measurements

  • Graphics performance

  • Overall stability


What should I do if maps or measurements are not loading correctly?

Try:

  • Updating your browser to the latest version

  • Using Chrome or Edge

  • Enabling WebGPU (Safari/Firefox)

  • Refreshing the page

  • Restarting the browser
