What does Copy values do?
Copy values copies service area measurements from the property to your clipboard.
You can paste them into:
Excel
Google Sheets
Numbers
Each measurement appears on its own row, with the values separated into columns automatically.
Where is Copy values?
Open the property in AI Map mode.
Copy values appears at the top of the Service Areas panel on the right.
How do I copy the measurements?
Open the property's AI Map.
Hide any service areas you do not want to include.
Select Copy values.
Paste the results into your spreadsheet.
What information is copied?
Duranta copies five columns:
Column | What it contains |
Name | Service area name |
Area (sq ft) | Area in square feet |
Perimeter (ft) | Perimeter in feet |
Segments | Number of separate shapes in the service area |
Quantity | A count where applicable, such as parking spots |
Do I need to format the data after pasting?
Usually, no.
The copied values are tab-separated, so spreadsheet apps automatically place them into separate columns.
Paste into the first cell where you want the table to begin.
Which service areas are copied?
Duranta copies visible service areas with an area greater than zero.
The results can include:
Ground-level service areas
Lawn (excl. trees)
Parking spots
Trees
Bushes / Shrubs
Can I control which measurements are copied?
Yes.
Only visible segments are copied.
Use the eye controls on the AI Map to hide any service areas you do not want included before selecting Copy values.
Hidden segments are excluded from both the copied rows and the total.
Can I copy only one value?
Yes. You can copy one measurement at a time.
Click a service area, such as Lawn or Parking spots, in the Service Areas panel.
The detail view shows values such as Segments, Area, and Perimeter.
Click the copy icon next to the value you want to copy.
What is Lawn (excl. trees)?
Lawn (excl. trees) shows the amount of lawn that is not covered by tree canopy.
When available and visible, it is copied as its own row with an area and perimeter.
Why does Parking spots have no area?
Parking spots are counted rather than measured as an area.
The number of detected parking spots appears under Quantity, while Area and Perimeter remain blank.
The row appears when parking spots have been detected.
What is Parcel area?
Parcel area appears at the bottom of the copied values.
It represents the total of the visible ground-level service areas included above it.
Why aren't trees included in Parcel area?
Trees and bushes sit above the ground layer and can overlap areas such as lawn or beds.
Including them in the total would count some of the same square footage twice.
They are therefore listed separately but are not added to the ground-area total.
Does Parcel area change when I hide a service area?
Yes.
Hidden segments are excluded from the copied rows and from Parcel area, so the total reflects the visible ground-level areas being copied.
Why don't I see the Copy values button?
The button may not appear if:
The property does not have AI segments yet
AI analysis is still running
The property does not have boundary data
Wait for the analysis to finish or run an AI analysis first.
Why did everything paste into one column?
Paste directly into the spreadsheet rather than through a text editor.
The copied data uses tab formatting, which spreadsheet apps normally recognize automatically.
Can I copy values from Site Scanner?
Yes.
Site Scanner also has a Copy values option using the same column format.
Can I export the map as an image instead?
Yes. But only in the Site Scanner.
Use Export as image if you want an image of the map.
This is separate from Copy values, which copies the measurements as spreadsheet-ready data.
How do I use these measurements in a proposal?
You usually do not need to copy and paste them.
Add the service area directly to a proposal, and Duranta carries the measurement with it.
See Measurement FAQ and Work Areas in the Web App for more details.
