Counting Parking Spots on the AI Map

Parking spot count is an estimate of the number of parking spots on a property. This is useful for quoting line-striping work or any service priced per parking spot.

Parking spot detection runs on demand. When you click the car icon, Duranta analyzes the parking lot, counts the spots, and displays the result under the Parking lots row in the AI Map.

How to count parking spots

  1. Open a property and stay on the AI Map.

  2. In the Service Areas panel, find the Parking lots row.

  3. If parking lots were detected, click the car icon next to the row.

  4. Wait while Duranta analyzes the parking lot.

  5. When detection is complete, a new row appears under Parking lots with the estimated parking spot count.

Example:

Parking lots 127, 871 sq ft
↳ Parking spots 274 spots

Each detected parking spot is also shown as a small orange dot on the map, so you can review what was counted.

Tips

  • Parking spot detection is on demand. It does not run automatically.

  • The car icon appears only when Duranta detects a parking lot on the property.

  • Residential properties without parking lots may not show the car icon.
