Layers on the 3D Map

Switch the property between AI-classification colors and a natural view, and show detected objects as solid geometry or LiDAR points.

The Layers controls in the 3D property view let you change how the scene is displayed.

There are two controls: AI segments and Show geometry.

The Layers controls help you show or hide AI segments, switch between solid geometry and LiDAR points on the 3D model.

Open the Layers panel

  1. Open a property AI Map.

  2. Switch to the 3D property view.

  3. Click Layers in the bottom-right toolbar.

The Layers panel opens with controls for visibility and LiDAR point display.

Show geometry — default: Off

Show geometry controls how detected objects (trees, beds, hedges, buildings) are drawn.

- Off — shown as raw LiDAR points, useful for inspecting the scanned data

- On — shown as solid 3D geometry, easier to read and navigate

The ground and surfaces always appear as solid terrain.

AI segments — default: On

Overlays AI classification colors on the 3D model, so each area is colored by what the AI detected (lawn, ground, paved surfaces, water, buildings, beds, hedges, and trees).

While AI segments is on, you can click an area to highlight that segment, and click again to widen the selection to its whole group. Turn it off to see the property in its natural view.
