When you add a property, Duranta's AI measures it for you in seconds. It finds the lawn, beds, trees, buildings, driveways and other areas on the lot, and gives you the area of each one.
Open the property
Open the customer's page and select the property. The map shows the lot with each area colored by category, and the Service Areas panel lists the measurements. Categories are grouped into the Ground layer and the Upper layer.
To learn what each category includes, see AI map categories.
See the details of an area
Select a category in the Service Areas panel, or click an area on the map. The inspector shows its measurements: the number of segments, the area and the perimeter. From here you can also:
Edit shape to change the outline
Reclassify as to move it to another category
Create work area to make a work area from it, which you can add to an estimate
Create estimate to start an estimate from this area
Copy measurements to paste the values somewhere else
Select All map areas to go back to the full list. To learn more about work areas, see Work areas in the web app.
Show or hide the AI map
To see the satellite image without the colored areas, scroll down to AI options and turn off Show AI map. Turn it back on to see the areas again.
đĄ If you change the lot lines, Duranta measures the property again for the new outline. See Adjusting the lot lines in the web app.
To fix areas the AI got wrong, see Adjusting AI maps and segments in the web app.
