Building Proposals, Templates, and Snippets on Mobile

Edit proposal layouts, add content blocks and saved snippets, and manage proposal templates directly in the Duranta mobile app.

Build and edit proposals directly in the Duranta mobile app using the same content blocks available in the web editor.

You can add headings, text, images, dividers, spacers, layouts, pricing blocks, and saved snippets without going back to a computer.

What you can add

Everything on a proposal is built from blocks.

Tap Add block/ + button to add:

Where to find proposal tools

  • Proposal — open the account, open the proposal, then go to Review and send.

  • Proposal templates — go to More → Favorites → Proposals → Proposal templates.

  • Snippets — go to More → Favorites → Proposals → Snippets.

Add content to a proposal

  1. Open the proposal.

  2. Go to Review and send.

  3. Tap Add block where you want to add content.

  4. Choose a block from the Add to the proposal sheet.

  5. Tap the block to edit its content.

Text blocks show Enter text here until you add text. Heading blocks show Heading.

Save to snippets — saves the block to Favorites so you can reuse it.

Edit, duplicate, or delete a block

Each block has a menu.

You can:

  • Duplicate — adds a copy directly below the original.

  • Delete — removes the block.

The delete confirmation identifies the type of block you are removing, such as:

  • Delete heading

  • Delete text

  • Delete image

  • Delete divider

  • Delete spacer

  • Delete layout

  • Delete Services & Pricing block

Work with layouts and columns

Choose Layout to arrange content in columns.

Available layouts include:

  • Single column

  • Two columns · even

  • Two columns · 60 / 40

  • Two columns · 40 / 60

  • Three columns

Tap Add block inside a column to add content there.

When you add content inside a column, the sheet title changes to Add to the column.

You can add text, images, and snippets inside a column.

Deleting the entire row uses Delete layout.

Services and pricing

Services are added through the Services & Pricing block.

Proposal-wide fees are shown in the Fees block.

To move a service into a pricing block:

  1. Tap Move a service here.

  2. Choose a service from Services on this proposal.

When all services are already placed in the pricing block, Move a service here is disabled.

If you delete a Services & Pricing block, Duranta tells you where its services will go so priced services are not accidentally lost.

Services & Pricing block in templates

In a template, the Services & Pricing block is a placeholder.

The Services & Pricing block explains:

Services can be moved into this pricing block. If no services are present, this section will not appear on a proposal.

💡Empty blocks does not appear when the proposal is published, so you can safely include both in a template.

Add a property map

Use a Property map block to show the property on a proposal.

In a proposal template, the map appears as a Property map placeholder because the template is not connected to a specific property.

When the template is used on a proposal, Duranta generates the actual property map.

While the map is loading, you may see:

Generating map…

If the map cannot be generated, Duranta may show:

This property has no parcel yet, so its map can't be generated.

Add or confirm the property boundary first.

Or:

This map couldn't be generated. Reopen the proposal to try again.

Close the proposal and open it again.

Create and use snippets

A snippet is reusable proposal content, such as:

  • A warranty paragraph

  • A crew photo and caption

  • A two-column list of included work

  • Terms or service details

Create a snippet

  1. Go to More → Favorites → Proposals → Snippets.

  2. Create a new snippet.

  3. Give it a name.

  4. Add blocks.

  5. Tap Done.

Insert a saved snippet

  1. Tap Add block.

  2. Select Saved Snippet.

  3. Choose the snippet.

Saved snippets can be inserted into:

  • A proposal

  • An invoice's customer notes section

  • A column

  • A proposal template

Inserted snippets are copies.

💡Editing a snippet on a proposal does not change the saved snippet. Editing the saved snippet also does not update proposals where it was already inserted.

Edit proposal templates

Go to More → Favorites → Proposals → Proposal templates, then tap a template.

Proposal templates have three tabs:

Tab

What it controls

Configure

Template name and whether it is the default template.

Design

Colors, typefaces, and spacing.

Preview

Shows how the template will look on a proposal.

Content blocks are edited the same way as they are on a proposal.

This means you can build reusable proposal layouts directly from your phone.
